| Langley provides medical support to Boy Scout Jamboree , FORT A.P. HILL, Va., August 05, 2005 Aaron Dunley spent the last year working and saving more than $1,000 so he could travel from Pennsylvania to the National Boy Scout Jamboree. When he fell and broke two bones in his right arm, he thought his fun had ended. Luckily for him and numerous others who attended the national event, 49 members of the 1st Medical Group deployed to the Jamboree with a 10-bed Expeditionary Medical Support hospital. Aaron’s arm was set on-the-spot and he was back to camp. During the Jamboree, which drew more than 40,000 Scouts, staff and visitors here, the deployed hospital saw more than 1,100 patients -- more than 400 on July 27 alone when the Scouts took a four-mile hike on a day with a 120-degree heat index.
